Every fall, the Broken Arrow High School Alumni Association selects a group of “Great Graduates” who exhibit strong leadership skills and demonstrate dedication to community service. These individuals bring honor to their alma mater through their personal and professional achievements.
This year, joining the ranks of Broken Arrow’s Great Graduates are Jeremy Bryant, Charles Finkle, Andrea Gardner, Joe McCane and T. Lane Wilson. <Read Biographies>
“So many of our graduates have gone on to achieve great things both in the Broken Arrow community and beyond,” said Chuck Perry, Superintendent of Broken Arrow Public Schools. “We are proud of their accomplishments, and it is only fitting to celebrate their successes during homecoming through the Great Graduates program.”
The Broken Arrow High School Alumni Association was revived in 1999, and that year marked the beginning of the Great Graduates tradition. The inaugural Great Graduates class was honored as part of the Broken Arrow Public Schools Foundation Banquet festivities in the spring of 1999. In 2001, the Alumni Association began hosting its own event specifically to honor the Great Graduates and their guests. This tradition continues today. Nominations are solicited from the Broken Arrow community for alumni who have led a life of selfless achievement and service to others for at least 20 years.
Nominations for 2025 are currently being accepted. Visit the Alumni Association website for more information on how to submit a nomination.
