The Broken Arrow Public Schools Special Services Department specializes in providing an array of services to approximately 2,400 exceptional students requiring additional services and supports to meet their educational needs. This department provides guidance, clarification and assistance to all those with interest in their exceptional student while maintaining their rights under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). The department’s employees give students and their families the most appropriate level of programming using a range of options tailored to the individualized needs of the student within state and federal guidelines.
