2025-2026 Athletic Information
Any student planning to participate in athletics next school year needs to pick up a flyer in the main office. It contains important information and instructions about the cost and paperwork required that evening.
If you are a current 7th grader and interested in being a manager or trainer for next year’s 8th Grade Football Team, please see the announcement in your SMS Student Life course in Canvas. Applications are in the Counseling Office on Ms. Hall’s door and are due on Thursday, May 15.

Tryouts for current 7th graders who are interested in playing 8th grade basketball next school year:

Players must wear a light-colored t-shirt with first and last name on the back of the shirt

2025-2026 Volleyball Information
7th, 8th, and 9th grade volleyball tryouts will be held May 5-7 at the Broken Arrow High School Events Center Arena. Please see the volleyball tryout poster in the office for more information and to scan the QR code to register.

Testing Information
State Testing (OSTPs) will continue with 6th–8th grade math tomorrow and 8th grade science on Wednesday. 6th and 7th grades will remain in their 1st hour class when 8th grade is testing in science. This will be the time when 6th and 7th graders will finish Defined Careers.
Make sure that you bring a fully charged Chromebook, get a good night’s sleep, eat breakfast, and arrive at school on time. Phones, Smart watches, and other devices will be silenced and kept in backpacks until all testing is completed. Rosters are posted in the gym lobby, by the cafeteria, and outside the main office. Make sure you check where you will be testing. Teachers will also have the rosters on their computers. Don’t stress and do your best!
