Administration

Sequoyah Middle School serves students in grades 6-8 through a number of academic and extracurricular course offerings that empower them to become creative, compassionate and contributing citizens. Built in 1967 as a junior high school, this school was named in honor of the Cherokee silversmith Sequoyah, who developed the Cherokee syllabary that made reading and writing possible for the Cherokee people.
