Administration

Rosewood Elementary, which opened in August 2020, serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade, developing them into creative thinkers, problem solvers, and lifelong learners. The school can accommodate up to 600 students and features 28 classrooms, a media center, art and music classrooms, a full-size gymnasium, and a tornado-safe room. Our mission at Rosewood Elementary is to create a culture that fosters authentic relationships within our school community. We empower students by instilling the confidence to set and achieve goals now and for their future. This mission statement captures the heart of what we strive for each day at Rosewood Elementary.

In an effort to introduce students to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), the school includes a cistern and a wind turbine. The cistern, a water collection system, uses rainwater gathered from the roof to irrigate some of the landscaping. The wind turbine serves as a learning tool to teach students about energy conservation.
