Pre-K enrollment is now open for the 2025-26 school year for children who turn four years old by Sept. 1, 2025.
Broken Arrow Public Schools proudly offers Pre-K classes at three Early Childhood Centers (ECCs) and nine elementary schools. Placement is based on geographic boundaries and site availability. Please note that transportation to and from school is the responsibility of parents or legal guardians.
BAPS’ Pre-K program provides young learners with an exciting opportunity to explore, grow, and build a strong educational foundation. “Our program is a collaborative effort between parents, students, and teachers,” said Teresa Bowker, Director of Early Childhood & Parent Engagement. “By working as a team, we create a supportive environment that fosters a love for life-long learning in our youngest Broken Arrow Tigers.”
Each Pre-K classroom, led by certified early childhood teachers and teaching aides, is limited to 20 students. The curriculum includes activities focused on reading, writing, math, art, and music—all designed to develop early reasoning and problem-solving skills. Research shows that children who attend Pre-K programs demonstrate stronger math, reading, and writing abilities compared to those who do not. Additionally, Pre-K helps students build essential social and emotional skills, contributing to long-term success both academically and socially. <Download FAQs>
