Tony Trueblood, Counselor
Email Mr. Trueblood
One of our goals at Liberty Elementary is to help provide a positive and successful school experience for our students. Some of the counseling duties include counseling individual students as needed, counseling small groups of children with similar concerns (social skills, divorce, anger management etc.), consulting with teachers and assisting them in meeting individual student's needs as well as coordinating referrals to school and community agencies and meeting with parents.
Guidance services are available to all parents/guardians and their children.
Visit district's webpage for parent resources.
Doctors and Psychologists
Doctors and psychologists often want teachers input with diagnosis of childhood disorders. If a doctor or psychologist sends a checklist for the teachers to complete, or wants a copy of the student’s records, please see the counselor to sign a release. This is because you are asking Broken Arrow Public Schools (the teacher) to give information to a third party about your child. It is district policy that all such information is mailed or faxed directly to the doctor or psychologist.
