ACCESS for English Language (EL) Learners
- Provides language acquisition information using a placement screening for EL students; assesses language proficiency
- Mandatory for students in grades K-12
ACT
- Measures what students can learn in high school to determine their academic readiness for college
- Test is optional for students in grades 7-12
Advanced Placement (AP)
- Assesses students' achievement in specific Advanced Placement courses
- Optional for students in grades 10-12
Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)
- Measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military
- Optional for students in grades 11 and 12
National Assessment of Educational Programs (NAEP)
- Measures what students across the nation know and can do in 10 subject areas, including math, reading, writing and science; the results of these tests are reported in the nation’s report card
- Mandatory for select students in grades 4, 8 and 12
Oklahoma State Testing Program (OSTP) / Oklahoma Alternate Assessment Program (OAAP)
- Assesses academic achievement for Oklahoma students; provides school administrators, educators, parents and the community with tools and information needed to accelerate learning
- Mandatory for students in grades 3-8 and grade 11
PSAT 8/9
- Helps students determine what they need to work on most so they’re ready for college when they graduate from high school; supports educators as they guide the way
- Mandatory for students in grades 8 & 9
PSAT/NMSQT
- Selects BA Scholars and National Merit Scholarship students; predicts SAT scores
- Mandatory for students in grade 10
- Optional for students in grade 11
SAT
- Assesses students’ readiness for college by measuring literacy and writing skills to determine how well test takers analyze and solve problems
- Mandatory for students in grade 11

STAR 360
- Identifies what students have mastered, the goals they need to reach and the optimal path to proficiency
- Mandatory for students in grades K-5
- Optional for students in grades 6-9
