Innovators earn core credits through interdisciplinary courses and elective credits through a multitude of experiences focused on exposing, expanding and exploring. Students will take a course called Connect which combines their English Language Arts and Social Studies classes and then a course called Scimatics which combines their Math and Science classes. XPO provides students with a wide range of opportunities to improve the world, which culminates into a passionate Capstone learning experience during a student’s senior year.

  • BA Design Lab (BAd Lab): Full-time programs that uses Human-Centered Design to address real-world needs with real people. Students get hands-on experience using HCD in their everyday classes. BAd Lab focuses on growing community partners and thrives off communication and teamwork.

The heart of the program, Design Rotation, is the one-of-a-kind student-led class for sophomores and juniors who work with community partners to address their needs, developing Services, Systems, Spaces, and Products. There are four main driving units Project Good, Pay It Forward, Entrepreneurship, and Partnership Cafe. Each area helps focus projects throughout the community. The BAd Lab program culminates into a passionate Capstone learning experience during a student’s senior year.

Fine arts students and student-athletes can participate in either option.
