Childers Middle School serves students in grades 6-8 through a number of academic and extracurricular course offerings that empower them to become creative, compassionate and contributing citizens. Built in 1986, this site was named in remembrance of Lt. Col. Ernest Childers, a Broken Arrow citizen who was the first Native American to earn the Medal of Honor since the 19th Century Indian Wars.
