Athletics Information

2024-2025 School Year tryout information for the following sports are available in the main office.  Also, don’t forget to pick up a copy of the physical form that will need to be filled out prior to tryouts.

Boys Basketball Tryouts

Tryout information/requirements for next school year’s 9th grade boys basketball team are listed below:

  • Current 8th grade student
  • May 8 and May 9
  • Centennial Middle School Gym
  • 5:00-7:00 p.m.
  • A completed current physical form, dated on or after May 1, 2024, is required
  • Wear a light-colored t-shirt with first and last name on the back of shirt

  • Friday --- No School --- Distance Learning Day --- Don't forget to log into Canvas for your assignments

Fellowship of Christian Students

FCS is a club for like-minded students and teachers. The club, centered on Scripture, is open to everyone. Meetings are primarily student-led and focus on the Christian walk of middle school students. Meetings may include guest speakers, service projects, games, and refreshments. The last meeting of the school year will be Wednesday morning, May 8, beginning at 8:00 a.m. in Mr. Marbach’s room #120.

 

Orchestra News

Congratulations to the Sequoyah Intermediate-Advanced Orchestra for their performance at Saturday's Heartland Music Festival. The orchestra won the trophy for "Best Overall," which is the highest honor that can be given to a performing group at the festival. Great job students!

 

OSTP Testing Information

All students need to make sure that they bring a fully charged Chromebook, get a good night’s sleep, eat breakfast, and arrive to school on time. Phones, smart watches, and other devices will be silenced and kept in backpacks until all testing is completed. Rosters are posted in the gym lobby, by the cafeteria, and outside the main office. Make sure you check where you will be testing.
